I have been off the HD Foums for some time as I decided to go drag racing for the last 4 years. I am a multiple class winner , setting both the NA and spray national records for a LX body Gen III Hemi in the less than 6.1 liter displacement, having gone 10.55 NA and 9.93 on a 200 shop of nitrous. The veterans of this forum will remember my 120" prototype Headquarters build from quite some time ago on my 2007 Ultra. This bike is still terrorizing parts of the Dakotas. I now have a 2010 Ultra and it too underwent a Headquarters build in 2010 to 107 inches. I have since put it back to 103" and just running a HQ 500 cam with Supertrapp 2-1 and a HD Heavy Breather. Time to update the bike!
I will be tearing it down, and making it more into what I consider "my bike'. Pics to come as winter sets in here in Northeast Ohio.
Nice ride Dalton. I miss drag racing and show cars but time and money and space made me choose and my Harley won out. Raced at the old Oswego (Illinois) US 30 (Indiana) and Great Lakes Dragaway (Wisconsin) in the 1970's through the 1990's. Even won class 4 at Norwalk Ohio at the very first Hot Rod Magazine Power Fest back in 1994 or 95. Have a lot of memories.
Got the bike stripped down. Have new chrome Magnum wheels on order from HogPro, Have a set of Arlen Ness smooth Chrome fork lowers, New air cleaner, lots of little goodies, New V&H Pro Pipe 2-1, and a few other surprises. All tins and bags, trunk, fairing inner and outer all are at Attitude Custom Painting in Florida to get their amazing paint work. This is the third bike I have had painted by them and am sure I will not be disappointed. I will spend the next week just cleaning everything that has been removed and also cleaning the frame, all other components and engine. When this goes back together it will be a "new" bike. What it looks like now:

Wow, that's a blast from the past. US30, Union Grove, Cordova and Great Lakes Dragway are all my old stomping grounds.
Hanging with Chis " The Greek", Dicky and Clem (Shake, Rattle and Roll) and Dale Creasy.
The good old days!
