i have an 03 heritage softail. i am thinking about puttin a kicker on her. any thoughts? had one on a 81 fl worked good. bought the the 88' a couple of tears ago. only work that i know of is the cams are a gear set. dont know what kind. wadda think? thanks.
Since your '03 Heritage is fuel injected, you may need more amps than a "weak or dead "battery can provide. That is, if that's the purpose of installing a kickstarter. Now, if it's just to be "cool or different" then I say go for it. Bear in mind, that the lowly 80" EVO, is not real easy to kick over (from what I was told, many years ago.)
If you want to end up with a bad knee and a bad hip, by all means go ahead and install a kicker on your bike. I hear that replacement surgery is all the rage these days!
