I know a guy with a Goldwing, that pulled a trailer with another Goldwing on it. Don't be that guy. He doesn't do that anymore. Now, he uses a hotshot with a 40' trailer to move lots of bikes all over the USA.
for 2 bikes I would go tandem axel. I have a 7*12 but if I do it again, I will go 8*14.
I also bought black, but would go white to see if its any cooler in there in the summer.
What else, jacks in the rear for loading if not connected to the tow vehicle, I would not buy nose again, I dont think there would be any difference in mpg while towing.
Got a 7x12 Haulmark v-nose. Can stagger two Roadglides. V-nose does make it easier to get to the front tie down against the outside wall. If I could do it again, I'd get an 8x14 as stated above. Little extra space never hurts.

Why not? A good friend on his way to one of our Club functions.
well as far as hauling goes 7x12 enclosed square frt you can get 2 full size bangers in it be staggering them.
Who hauls a Bagger? Isn't the point of a bagger to ride long distance??? Sorry I just don't understand the bikes on or in a trailer thing. If you re going that far away fly and rent, that's what I do..

I get you are not a fan of "trailering" a bike and you have many by your side but why get involved in this thread and make comments that don't address the OP's question?
There are many reasons why somebody would trailer a bike vs. riding it.
Do a forum search, I'm sure your get a lot of hits that render many reasons.
Back to the thread subject.
My trailer as previously shown is a modular but it is 5' X 12'.
The 12' is fine but the 5' is a bit tight when tying down and getting around the bike. An extra 1' would make a big difference.
So for 1 bike I'd go at least 6' X 12' but a 5' X 10' is workable.
For 2 bikes I'd got with at least at least 7' X 14'.

While I don't trailer my scooter ... I do pull a trailer WITH my scooter. That way I can go for as long as I want and have the necessary things that have kept me married for more than 46 years . Lighten up "Scrambler" ...

I trailered my Bagger 8 miles through the snow, to a storage room last month. Currently, I have a BMW stored in that trailer. If I go to Bike Week this year, I'll trailer a bike. I bought a bike 200 miles North of where I live, and I trailered it home. I trailer my dirt bike(s) to the trail heads. Does this help you "understand the bikes on or in a trailer thing"?
