Default Harley Helmets

I heard somewhere that Harley Davidson helmets are made by HJC. Can anyone confirm this?

That's what I heard, but for some reason HD helmets seem to run a size small. I've worn HJC and Shoei helmets and have always worn an XL. With the HD helmets I wear an XXL.

HJC is the manufacturer. Take a look at the helmet section on the HD website:

Carbon KevlarÂŽ Half Helmet

IN-STORE PURCHASE ONLY Contact dealer for availability

Lightweight Carbon KevlarÂŽ shell with D-ring chin strap. Two front vents exhaust air. Removable, washable CoolMaxÂŽ liner. Removable visor detached. Replacement visor available. Meets DOT requirements. HJC, 1 lb. 12 oz.

For a helmet to be effective, it must fit properly. Read about the steps you should take when fitting a helmet. Harley-Davidson strongly recommends that you visit your H-D dealer to try on helmets to determine the proper size and fitment.

It says for most on the website who makes the helmet. Some are HJC. There is a KBC. I didn't look at all of them but, if you want to take the time to browse the entire selection, you might find out who makes most of them.

I saw that $225 carbon fiber helmet at the dealer the other day. Very nice. They also had one that looked identical to it for $55DOT approved. You could not tell the difference.
