Default Anyone using Sintered Brake Pads on SS OEM Rotors?

Are any of you using sintered brake pads with your stainless steel OEM rotors? I juts installed a set of EBC double H Sintered pads on the front of my EG and, I am already seeing some scoring on the rotors. Is this normal? Im wondering if I should replace them with some organic pads. Would love to hear some thoughts on this. Thanks!

I did this a few years back with the same pads. They stopped great but warped my rotor after a year or so. I did have to get on the brakes hard once and I think that may have warped the rotor.

I guess my concern is with the rotors. Will the scoring stop at a certain point? I guess this is what they call "bedding" the pads ? Right now, Im getting about 75% coverage on the rotors but, I havent put but a few miles on them.

Your rotors should be considered as a wear part, just like the pads. The sintered pads will wear the rotor sooner, but they have much better grip and feel than the original style pads. In my opinion, the trade-off is worth it. The rotor wear shouldn't be a huge concern for the average rider. The original rotors lasted 75,000 miles on my Triumph Bonneville, running the EBC HH pads the whole time. Great choice in pads though! The EBC HH pads are my favourites on all my bikes. I have a set on the shelf for my Dyna to replace the originals when they wear out.
