That's the box they were referring too Larry.

Welcome to the forum first of all. I think there are three screws that attach the end caps to the slipons, its an easy fix but I understand its a new bike so have the dealer fix it on your first service.

For us old Geezers it's a bitter pill to swallow, but trying to keep our money in the US is virtually impossible. The best I can do is try and spend my money on any company that invests in the USA. Ask yourself this, who has made a bigger investment in the USA? Harley or Honda? I have no problem buying Honda.

I feel the same way. When I was truck shopping back in 2010 I ended up purchasing a 2005 Tundra. I did some reading and it seemed it was "the most" made in America truck that year. I was very surprised. My wife drives a Honda Pilot...made in the USA. I have a John Deere diesel tractor (a real one) and a Harley in the garage so I try. I try to support small local business whenever I can. I use my independent motorcycle shop more and more. They're prices are just so much better and they'll actually fabricate stuff for me.

Yeah, Harley keeps compromising their quality as evidenced by their choice in vendors.
You should find out who makes their pipes, probably some Taiwan or Indian outfit.
There's a lot better choices in pipes anyway.
Always has been.

This is a not uncommon problem-search Street Cannons. In my case, the gap was totally unrelated to if/how well the end caps were secured. It appeared that somehow the "innards" of one pipe were somehow vibrating out. I replaced mine with a new set after about 300 miles and with about 5000 miles on the new set, so far, so good.

The quality was very good when Cycle Shack made the SE exhaust & mufflers. Too bad they are closing their doors.
