I have a 2015 Road Glide with only 2,200 miles. I cut the cat out last weekend and now it seems like I have a knock from the front cylinder. Maybe it what was always there and I can hear it better with the cat out?? What do you think....gonna try to attach a short video....had to use an online converter to make it an mp3 from an mp4; so lets see if the vid works

Since you had the exhaust off.... are you sure it's not a leak at the headpipe gasket? Those flanges need to be re-tightened a time or 2 after the initial torquing.
There is a sequence for tightening the nuts also.

You have a bike thats under the factory warranty,so why worry yourself with a noise which is probably normal unless you voided your warranty with your dealer by altering the exhaust. That gives you something else to worry about.
Update on my noise....I installed the Rockout lockers back in the Spring...they took some noise out of the top end, but I've had more of a knock going on. Rode 3,150 miles to Sturgis then to Canada and back home. After about 10 miles on the highway, the noise would go away, but at gas stops it would start up again. 2 different guys asked me at different times what was wrong with my bike and if my oil level was low!
Took it into the dealer yesterday to get looked at. The service adviser asked if I was sure that it wasn't normal that these are noisey bikes...so I'm getting paranoid that I'm going to get the run around of "that's how they all sound".... Turns out the replaced the lifters under warranty and Oh My God!....the knock is gone!
I've loved this bike and have 6,500 miles on it, but every time I'd take it out I'd be aggravated by the knock...now I'm in love with it all over again!
