Funny that you posted this today, I just got my H.O.G welcome package in the mail today. Bought my bike new from dealer few weeks ago. Cool bit was I was looking into a summer trip to the Harley museum earlier in the day, got home to find my membership gets me a free visit!
I know that I have a local but I am not sure about a national membership. I will have to ask my dealership about that.
National membership is required to belong to the local chapter.
Our present dealer gives a national and local membership for a year with purchase.
It might be an option from the dealer because a friend bought a 2003 Dyna Police bike (new) and the local dealer wouldn't give a national membership.
Left a bad taste in the friends mouth, felt he wasn't being treated fairly. Had a tendancy to buy parts elsewhere. Same dealer went out of business after a few years.
