A pressure washer is so impersonal. Some of you must really hate your bike, why stop there, hell pull out the leaf blower too. LOL
Like I said I only use the Pressure washer once or twice a year for spokes on the HD, use it all the time on the dirtbikes and side by side but I use the leaf blower any time I wash the HD
Leaf blower makes drying a bike much easier and gets the water out of those spots you will never get to with a cloth.
Nope. Never. Damn thing'll take the paint off yer car, can't imagine what it'd do to bearings & electronics. I use as little water as possible when I wash my bike.
Leaf Blower is awesome. It dries your bike without scratches. I use my handheld Stihl, not my Backpack. Then one final drying with a microfiber on the tins and tour pack.
I live in Wisconsin. I used to store my pressure washer indoors but now I just disconnect the spark plug, and pull the starter cord until no more water comes out, and store in unheated garage. Haven't had any problems.
Man I don't know how powerful some of you folks pressure washers are if they are taking paint off vehicles. I have used pressure washers for years to wash the mud of my trucks/jeeps and never yet had one take paint off. Granted they are either the elec ones or the residential gas ones but all have had an adjustable nozzle where I could regulate the pressure of the stream. If you have a paint job that is cracked or chipped I can see it knocking paint but other than that I just don't see it. Hell I use pressure washers each spring to wash down painted trim on the eaves of my house, painted deck railing and don't peel the paint there either. Sure I can regulate the nozzle stream to a jet and gouge the wood but in a fan pattern I never had an issue
