Had a lower strut bolt seize on my car once. It was my own damn fault, had overtightened it a "smidge" 
putting it back on the previous time I had worked on the car. Was in a hurry and forgot that these particular bolts tend to tighten themselves due to vibration, heat, etc. Pops and I hit that thing with everything we could find, including a very expensive impact wrench that could generate 600+lb-ft of torque in reverse, but nothing budged it. We did manage to ruin the head, which was impressive, given that it was a tempered steel bolt. We finally had to heat the nutuntil it was literally glowing red, put a set of vice grips at the other end, and give it a whack with a small sledgehammer to break it loose. Needless to say, Never-Seez is now one of my best friends. Bolt and nut cost $15 to replace, whichjust addedinsult to injury. Glad to hear you finally got it undone.
