I have an FXDB and wanted to know what normal running temp was and what temps to look out for. I put on a 2 brothers racing 2 into 1 pipe with RSD high flow air cleaner.
I tuned it with the Fuel Pak system FP3 from Vance and Hines. Did a quick couple laps for 10-15 minutes and was at 213 degrees on my engine temp gauge on the app.
Im not too familiar with what kind of temps I should be looking at.
perfectly normal, its an air/ oil cooled engine. Engine temp varies a lot with riding conditions and ambient outdoor temperature. Anything under 240*F is pretty normal. Keep the bike moving is the best thing you can do.
Your owners manual should also cover engine temps, and many other normal operating parameters.
