Default What Can I Expect?

Just ordered a complete Vance and Hines set up, Twin Slash Slip-Ons, Drak Air Intake and the FP3 Fuel-PAC, what can I expect in a performance increase as well as fuel savings?

I am making a trip from the Bay Area to Fayetteville, AR in July and wanted to make sure the bike is ready to go, these seem like the best bang for the buck things I could do. The next thing may be a klockwerks windshield and back rest, as well as a cup holder.

Thoughts?

I would go for the back rest and highway pegs, then cup holder, before a windshield.

As for engine performance - it will increase. Without before/after dyno runs, any numbers are speculation. The FP3 will add fuel across the board where needed - these engines are factory lean.

5% max. Probably can't feel it, but most folks will say they've experienced a remarkable transformation. Ah, psychology.....

I couldn't really tell a difference in mine as far as fuel economy when I did the stage 1 type upgrade.

Power wise, maybe 5-10% in the mid ranges (optimistically)

Louder, definitely.

Back rest, absolutely will make your trip more comfortable.

Cup holder, yes. Gotta stay hydrated when your spending that much time in the wind.

I have no experience with Klockwerks, but I really like the Long Ride windshield I put on mine at cruising speeds.

1. Almost nothing.

2. Next to nothing.

3. Yes, if your goal is loud pipes.

However you will be able to tell anyone that will listen that the mods "make all the difference" or "like night and day".
