I know that sometime a spouse dies and they don't want the memory sitting around, sometimes the person that doesn't want the bike, but doesn't want the other to have it in a divorce and just dumps it for spite, sometimes people sell them fast to reduce monetary holdings quick, sometimes new riders poopy their shorts and don't ride again. lots of reasons. I have 2 in the garage 05 night train with 54xxx on it and 2010 ultra classic with 76xxx on it. don't want to sell or trade. and they both run great.

Yeah, people take out a loan on a bike they really can't afford and when the money crunch comes the first thing to go is that $350 a month bike payment.

I would NEVER take a loan out on a motorcycle. If I can't afford to buy it then I can't afford to own it.

I bought mine from a guy who was hoping his wife would ride with him. She wasn't interested. So he bought a fancy pickup truck and put the bike on CL.

I saw a 2013 SG with 5,300 miles on it today. The paint was not that great & a lot of sun damage to inner fairing etc. I didn't bother to ask the price.

I wish I knew the back story on the used night train I bought, heard girlfriend was pregnant and needed a new car so traded into the dealer. I knew based on PNO on file for 3 years and busted gas line that it sat for a few years but wish I could find some things out like who did the paint job on it.
