It would have been great if a little bit down the road you saw that guy off in the bushes, or off one of the steep drop offs. I would have had to stop and ask if he thinks he was goin to fast for the road, laughed at him and drove away. f' him.,,,
He was right, you and your friend were wrong. Ride your own ride; don't force everyone behind you to ride it too. When a faster bike comes up on you, move to the right of the lane and motion them past.
You might not think you were holding anyone up, but clearly you were. Don't care how old you are, don't care how long you've been riding. Common courtesy and rider's etiquette says you let faster traffic past.
Absolutely correct. When a faster bike is behind you, move right and when it's safe wave him by. Simple courtesy.

1. This: The guy pulls beside my friend and begins to tell him that he SHOULD PULL OFF THE ROAD WHEN HE SEES A BIKE LIKE HIS BEHIND and let them pass. Really? Pull OFF the road? LMFAO
2. If it is safe for me to do so, I might slide to the right to let a faster bike by. If I choose not to, the bike has two choices: pass in the other lane, or throttle back. His choice, I don't give a ****.
Dragon is a public road: what I'd do on the track, and I track day occasionally, I am not obligated to do on a public road. Crowd me or **** with me and I'll find you. Get in my face and it'll be a regretful moment for you.
Courtesy goes both ways. If you want to be the king of the curves, go track your bike.
Just pull over and let them pass. That's just being courteous. This is exactly why Harley riders on the Dragon have a reputation for being jackasses. Though obviously the guy you encountered is a huge dick.
I love all of the Internet tough guys in here.. I would have this and I would have that...yea, you probably would have gotten your asses kicked by some guy crazy enough to start a fight over something like this.

No need or legal requirement to pull over, that's bullshit. It's a public road. Should cars pull over too? You're dreaming. Road is open to everyone and I'll say it again, if you can't go fast enough there, go do a track day. Regarding the rest of your silly *** post, it is not even worth responding to.

I said it was courteous not legally required. But you prove my point well enough.
As for the rest of my post, did it strike a nerve?
Oh boy ... here we go. It usually comes down to "Who has,or who is the biggest dick!" :>)
I win! I posted it up and it's huge! You'll have to take my word for it tho. Izzo took it down.
Seriously guys - most here are fine with waving someone by. I don't think anyone is arguing that. But when you're trying to hustle through the curves and riding with friends, it's probably not going to happen because the faster rider gets stacked up behind a group. Guess what? That's life. Deal with it.
But I would imagine most, if not all of us are happy to wave by a faster rider when they are right on our 6. That was not the case here. And regardless - the guy was a douche bag and lucked out that he didn't get thrown off the overlook. Pull off the road.....LOL.
