Lost my best friend Saturday! I was not there, maybe that was a blessing. The others that were with him are not sure exactly what happen. Traffic came to an abrupt stop and he was behid two other bikes and to the inside, and a little staggered back of a third. While trying to stop he locked up his rear and sarted fish tailing and no one but him knows for sure how it happen but he ended up shooting across the lane and took the left saddle bag off the bike on his left and when he did he shot into the oncoming lane and was hit by a small truck head on.
It was a very hard ride to work this morning because even though we worked at seperate facilities they are very close and we rode together almost every day.
What I want to say is please pay attention to whats going on in front of you.
And Live every day like its your last because you never know when your time is up!
Ride Free John Clark
I love you Brother and will see you again, and we will ride the streets of Heaven together.
Sorry for your loss. I just found out this morning, a couple I met at a rally this spring were killed over the weekend by a drunk crossing the centerline on a curve.
I am so sorry for your loss. May you and the families left behind find comfort and peace in the days to come.
I just purchased my first bike and while everyone warned me that it's a dangerous sport, I decided I didn't mind. I am a private pilot so I'm not exactly afraid of risk but for some reason, I feel more apprehensive now about riding as I continue read these rider down stories. I hope / pray it passes.

That apprehension will keep you alive.
My condolences to Lunchboxx.
