When I have my full face helmet on (which is always when I ride)I hear this high piched buzzing when I am throttled up, when I release throttle, it stops. I am pretty sure it is coming from helmet.
Anyone else have this?
Any solutions?
I do have a com system installed with built in radio, but it still happens when disconnected.
Might help to know what kind of helmet you have so others here who have something like that going on can give some input.
Try riding with another helmet and see if it still buzzes. Then it's the helmet.
I'm going to guess it's the helmet. I've got quite a few helmets and some of my full face helmets do have buzzing or howling when I ride; very clear even through my earplugs. The quietest full face helmets I own are my Bell Star carbon fiber helmets; no howl or buzz or bizarre vibrations in them.
I do hate to say it but the quietest helmets I own are my Akoury AK-88's; using my custom earplugs those things have no buzzing, howling, or wind buffeting at all. Of course if you bin the bike your face has no protection, so there's that
I had a helmet with the built in sunshield and that thing would rattle like a damn snake at freeway speeds. The only way I got rid of it was to remove it.

I also get a high pitched screeching noise when I get on the throttle, it also goes away when I get off the throttle. It also only happens when I have my wife on the back.
