The best compliment I get is when someone can't believe it's a switchback. The beauty of owning a Harley is making it your own. Still got stuff I wanna add or change out, I have Ebc rotors on order and ordering a BMC rambler seat soon.
Nice work, Eric. The only giveaway is the wheels. I tried to find something different for mine and settled on the chrome - still a giveaway. No other options except for stupid-expensive custom wheels.
I too wish the MOCO would have taken this bike more seriously. It has so much potential. I really love mine, and have been fortunate to have one that doesn't suffer from the nasty vibration issues.
Nonetheless, your mod's look great. Very original and rare to see on an FLD!
Thanks guys and yes, MOCO will discontinue the switchback production after 2016. Five years was a good run I guess, I think the problem is that most people would just spend alittle more and get a tour bike than a dyna with bags.
I still love my 2012, 16,000 and counting, plus you got me started on the powdercoating. Looks good with the silver.
Mines a 2013 that I bought in July2014 with only 22miles, now I have 27K miles. Kind of unfair cause I can pretty much ride year round. Oh I got it for 16K OTD cause it was used, saved 3K..lol
