Default Help with mirrors

I'm a new rider and have had trouble ever since I replaced my stock mirrors on my slim.. I'm on my 2nd set of after market mirrors. These are arlen ness. The problem I have been having is, all I can see is the ground in back. That's it. After getting these new ones and adjusting them in my driveway. Everything seemed great. I could see well. Why I can always see good out of my right mirror, but not the left one, I will never understand. they are set exactly the same.

As soon as I start riding, I can no longer see. Even when stopped at a light, I can't see in back. But sitting in my driveway, i could see way in back. I'm about to just say **** it, and not worry about what's in back of me...But I'd rather be able to see back there. Anyone else experience this?

I know I can see behind me better on the right mirror too. I THINK it's may be because of where it fits into the mounting hole. It's farther forward than on the left side because of the front brake fluid.

As for seeing behind you...I added those adjustable round mirrors to mine. I can see beside me as well as behind me.

I do have these hanging underneath. They look cool there. but I might have to move them on top.

Well, I like the clean, no mirror look too but I think it might make me see too much of my wife's legs. Plus I like to use my eyes and not my head to see in them. Wearing glasses has its good and bad points.

But the round, adjustable mirrors are something I won't do without. They were on my last bike and on this one. You see newer vehicles with them already on the mirrors.

What are these adjustable mirrors you speak of? Are they something you add to your already existing mirrors?

Have you tried adjusting the mirrors anywhere other than in your driveway? If the driveway isn't level your view will change once you get on the road. If you are indeed big, Conan, maybe the mirrors are mounted too low.

You know you can move the mirrors around on the stems, rotate the mounts on the bars, and the handlebars themselves, right?
There's a forum for sailor knots too if you have any trouble tying your shoes.

I know that. haha. No matter how I adjust them, I can't see in back. I'm looking for an extension of sorts. I've been looking online for an stem extender. I've adjust both the stem and the mirror itself.

Help me out here. I know about adjusting the mirrors and the stems. But you said adjusting the mounts? I don't think I can adjust my mount.
