does it hold the tune, like if I get it professionally tuned on a 70 degree day, naturally a 90 degree humid day will make it run leaner rich, does it automatically adjust the tune it has to everyday parameters? thats what I'm looking for, and did they work the bugs out, I was DEAD SET on this tuner, than I read all the problems?
I've used one for a little over a year and really like it- replaced a Power Commander V with it. I get zero decel pop, zero "gurgling", and a very smooth power band. One thing though for anyone with the '08 and down "Y pipe" header- it doesn't like that and tries to richen up the back jug constantly due to the location of the O2 sensor. It'll run like a raped ape when moving and with good exhaust flow, but it will pop a lot on decel and idle.
you mean 2-1 pipes? I have a 2008 rocker c, with the vance and Hines big radius duals, baffles cut in half, tig welded, but was told they suck, and to get a 2-1, so I'm looking at the dd and the Bassani, Question, do I remove the baffles in the 2-1 for most power or leave them?????sorry I'm a need, who spent almost 30k on my rocker c, 3k miles, 107 kit, lots and lots of mods/things etc, gear mod name it I did it..lol
TM all the way.. if you can find someone competent, dyno tune the best map personalized..proby dont need that if its not built..
not many really dont know how to use them together
Tommyblazin, I mean the stock pipes on touring that Harley used up until they changed in 2009. The back cylinder exhast splits into a y and comes out both sides of the bike.
I will use these because they get supported ......explain the problem , turn in a data packet so they can read everything .... and they send you a fix if they cant do it right on the phone , or by email .....Love them
Why would you want to replace the Delphi ECM with it? If I remember correctly the Thundermax is Alpha-N. Why would one want to revert back to Alpha-N vs. a speed density system like the Delphi ECM?
Wide band O2 sensors? If you feel the need for those - why wouldn't you just use a Target Tune in conjunction with the Delphi ECM?
Because you can tune them your damn self .......otherwise you have to take to the damn dealer every time you do something ....... to remap it .....I can do mine in 15 mins just take my seat off and BLAM..... done and check anything else I wanna check.
The dealership freaks out .. The take my seat off ...ah sir it has an aftermaket ecm ....Im like ah yeah ......Didnt pay you to work on the ecm did I ?

There's nothing unique about that. Take your pick, Power Vision, Master Tune TTS, etc... allow you to do the same... Hell, most of them don't even require you to take your seat off...
