You cannot disable the bike's security system. If that were allowed, any thief could do it.
You have two options:
1. Leave the FOB on the bike so it thinks it is always disarmed [not recommended]
2. Go to a dealer. They will verify it is your bike and disable the security system using the digital technician. There may be a labor charge for this.

I thought you had to change out the TSSM (turn signal security module) to a non-security one.
I could just see the conversation between an owner and his/her insurance agent. I/A- you intentionally disabled your security and your bike got stolen? Sorry we can't help you out. Now why would you want to, just curious?
Lol. Let's give advice on how to defeat a security system. So this guy can figure out how to boost them and sell it for parts. So Cal is the stolen bike capitol of the world. As the 2nd poster stated, if there's a way to do it then thieves would be all over it
But if you were referring to how to unlock the bike without a FOB there is a code that you input to unlock the bike.
The default code is usually. 00000. So there you have it. Good luck on stealing someone else's bike.
I would have bought a bike without security if you didn't want it in the first place or jstr lock in in your bag and use the fork lock to lock it
I would prefer to not have that FOB.
Anyone ever disable it somehow and just rely on locking the forks/ignition?
Thanks

Bonez had the best answer, you're going to have to go thru the dealer to do this.
I just keep it hanging in my side case. Change the battery once a year and use your key to lock the ignition if you want to when your away from the bike.
Also - change the pin to a 5 digit number you can remember and keep the card or cheat sheet in your wallet so you can override it should it ever go awry. So Far I haven't had any problems. Having The security system will save you some insurance dollars, even if you don't use it by leaving the fob on the bike.
