Default first post introduction and patch question

Hey guys, I'm new to the forums, figured I'd say hello.

A little back story on me: when I was a kid my mom dated a few guys in the Banditos out of Ft Worth and bar tended at a place called Blueberry Hill. For years I grew up in the culture, went on runs, got into some bad **** (selling guns / drugs / etc), but I left it all behind about 15 years ago, totally turned my life around, moved to cali and am now a graphic designer / illustrator.
About 5 years ago I started riding again. Found a nice sporty 883 bored out to 1200 and I'm happier now than I have been in many many years.

Anyway, I've got a question for the forums... now, I know pretty much all the ins and outs of patches from growing up in the banditos, but this is a bit beyond my realm of knowledge.
I'm a comic book fan and one of my favorite comic characters is Lobo. I wanted to basically do a straight up rip-off of his back patches:

I know that pretty much any bottom rocker is gonna catch me some flack, but then again it doesn't state a location and is also a comic book reference....

so there ya go. thats my question. would this be a bad idea?

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Banditos....maybe the Frito Banditos? I would be a little more believing in your story if you got the name right...

You are are not claiming territory or even representing a club with that patch. No one will care.

oh, and FlamedFXR, seriously man... I'm not trying to talk all big dude. I'm a graphic designer. like i said in my original post, my mom dated and bartended for these dudes. I did my homework in the back of the bar and played darts with the guys when i was done. It was my job to feed the dogs that protected the garage and keep the bonfire going when we sat around and bullshitted at night. I rode in the truck with my mom on runs, we kept ******* drivers off of everyones rear ends.
I dont even consider myself a biker as I've only really been riding for the last 5 years. Does that sound like someone who is bragging?
I signed up to this community hoping to possibly make some friends, meet some local riders, maybe even do some design/illustration work for some helmets, etc. I didn't sign up to this community to get into internet arguments over stupid bullshit that doesn't matter. i got nothing to prove to you homie. believe what you want.

First of all: Welcome. I am all for creativity. Unfortunately, I don't get the comic book reference and I don't think most other riders will. To me you would just look eccentric.

Welcome.

Great idea, but use a profile shot of the skull with only a single wing showing out the rear of the skull. That should go over well.
