Anything in particular you are looking to do?
The road will likely be fairly busy and traffic rolls at a pretty good clip (think 80 plus).
There is plenty of good BBQ and craft beer in the area.
I don't know if this will make you change your plans or not, but check the weather for the Houston and Austin areas. There is a good possibility of thunderstorms this weekend.
weather is actually starting to look up a bit for saturday but sunday isn't looking so good. If you're wanting to rent a bike after flying in the 2 closest to the airport are Woodlands HD which someone mentioned and Kingwood HD. If you want to get to the other side of houston before renting something so you don't have to ride through all our crazy traffic look for Mancuso Crossroads, they are out on 290 on the way to Austin.

It's amazing how Houston has changed. I lived in Houston when I bought my first Harley, a 1988 Heritage. Back then there were only two dealerships, Mancuso's and Stubbs and each only had one location.
I bought it from Mancuso's which, at the time, was a small dealership on the north loop.
In the Houston area, only the Woodlands (North Houston, closer to IAH airport) and Republic in Stafford (Southwest Houston, closer to Hobby airport) rent. Pricing is better from Woodlands.
