Heading into my slow season and thinking about building a Bobber. My immediate thoughts are late model Softail Standard or Dyna Wide Glide or possibly an Evo Softail. I'm leaning towards a Softail because the rear suspension lends more to a bobber look. Don't want a true hardtail cause comfort is key (yes, I want the hardtail look without having to see the chiropractor after riding the bike). I love the front end on the wide-glide so I may just swap out the softail front end out with one off a wide glide. Looking forward to your feedback.
My springer classic has kind of a bobbed look at the moment (using a tablet I barely understand so I can't post a pic). I'm in the middle of mods so it'll lose the look eventually. I think the springer front with the softail rear works well to give it the look.
edit: on a regular computer and it's still a current discussion, so i'll throw in a pic
but like I said, a bobber isn't really the goal, so when I start putting parts back on, it'll lose the look.

I always thought the Slim was pretty close to the bobber look right off the floor. Cut the struts and the rear fender, put a spring seat and a springer front end on it and I think it would look pretty awesome.
