Well, just from observing the rim/tire from the side, it seems to be bent a bit. I went back to check out where it happened, andIdon't see anythingthat could have bent the rim. I think I was in a bit of shock right afterwards, so I didn't remember the incident that well.

There is a small curb sort of thing that I went over, but it's rounded asphalt and only about 2" high, then just a bush. I can't see that curb doing it. What do you think?

I nailed a pot hole earlier the same day, to the point where my feet came off the pegs and it felt like the rear tire left the road. I was concerned that I may have done some damage there, but didn't look closely enough at the time.

Any thoughts?? .. How much of a jolt does it take to bend a rim? You can't tell the rim is bent with the bike sitting there, but you can see a wow from side to side when riding.

I'm going to stay off of it for the next few days, but have an hour's ride to the dealer. How dangerous is it to be riding like this?
If you've already had the thing up to 90 MPH and it didn't throw ya, I don't think I'd worry too much about a nice relaxing ride to the shop. lol
I'll be anything but relaxed on that ride.

Do you monitor your tires for the proper air pressure? My front tire calls for 36 psi. It is a lot easier to bend a rim, if your air pressure is too low in the tire.

I haven't checked it since ... but I just got the break-in maintenance done 2 days earlier. I took it for granted that they checked the air pressure.
