Default The USS Milwaukee Softail Slim S should have been

A 10 dollar raffle and the winner could have pick it up at any navy base near their home . Instead of being sold to the highest bidder.

I dunno, it's a great charity - which would raise more money, the raffle or bidding?

in case anyone is wondering what this is about:

If the raffle ran from now until say next Veterans Day and tickets were sold at all Harley dealers in the USA . I think it would have generated well over $250,000 dollars easily.

The info is also on this forums secret home page .

I want to wish the organization good luck in the raffle of this bike. And to the future owner more good luck. Seems the fleet of LCS class ships have been having major casualties (breakdowns) with large repair bills. Hope that doesn't reflect on the bike.

It's not a bike raffle . It's a bike 4 sale to the highest bidder. I just chimed in to say I wish it was a 10 dollar bike raffle .
