My experience is that they are almost uncomfortably tight for the first several wears, then they do get comfortable. I'm really liking mine.

Really want to end up getting one.. They are so damn expensive though. I'm happy for the time being with my LS2 Strobe modular

Thank you, that matches my experience so far so I'm glad to read that. I go to work on Saturday and the commute is just shy of 100 miles so that should help.

Understandable. If my commute wasn't so long I wouldn't have worried about getting the absolute quietest I could. In two weeks I'll have 1000 miles on it so hopefully it's worth it!

You have good taste. I've been riding with Schuberth for several years now. It's the best.

I have the Cardo comm system installed as well. Seamless communication.

The thing about it having a tight fit is that after about 30 min you don't get any "hot spots" kinda like a new ball cap gives you. The neck roll on my girls SR2 was super tight but once her nogin got past that it fit like a glove. Gotta remember to that yours is a modular so you have to cut it a little slack as far as db goes. Shuberth also does a great job at making it not look a modular.

Having gone from no lid in my younger days, (when the law still permitted it), to half to 3/4 over the years, I had been on the fence about graduating to a full face/modular for a while. After a fair amount of research and trying helmets on I decided that the C3 Pro was the right helmet for me. The only hiccup was the cost. I was at the Progressive motorcycle show as the final day was wrapping up about a year ago and got a great discount as the guy manning the booth wanted to minimize the product he had to pack back up and he just so happened to have my size.

I can tell it's a great helmet and it fits me well, but coming from a 3/4 I get VERY claustrophobic in it. I wear it about half the time, hoping I'll get past the occasional urge to rip it off that the claustrophobia causes. I can't imagine the distraction is a good thing. I have no doubt that it's not the brand but the whole going from open face to full face that is the issue. I'm trying to soldier through it, but if it persists, I may just go back to the 3/4 and call it a day. We'll see. My own phobia aside, it is clearly a very high quality lid.

I have two (2) SR1s and a C3 Pro for myself and the wife. I'm not one to listen to music/radio/talk while commuting-watching out for the cagers/drunks/distracted drivers takes ALL of my attention, but there are no finer helmets on the market. Always buy a little tight, they mold to your face and head after a few wearings (especially the SR1's with their "race fit").
