So replaced my HD branded HJC Flip Up with a Shuberth C3-Pro. Previous helmet had already gotten so loud (8 months or so, 6200 miles) that I could no longer hear my music from my SENA at freeway speeds. Hoping this new helmet will help that!

Oh you betcha. This thread about Schubert helmets has been absolutelybeat to death more than once over. You'll die one day from having your music distracting you from what's really transpiring what's going on around you. Good luck and I hope you make it!

Yes helmet topics and beaten to death BUT when someone posts about one of the best off the shelf lids you can buy it's worth mentioning. If it fits I have no doubt you'll like it alot. FYI They are so **** about wind tunnel data that they make their own separate neck roll that incorporates the helmets com system just so there is nothing thats mounted outside the shell that will catch wind.
Excellent choice on the lid. I have the C3 myself after having a few half helmets (never wearing those again), an HJC Symax and Shoei Mulititec. While I did crash wearing the Multitiec and it did it's job of protecting my jaw, the C3 is another level above. Very plush and refined. My only gripe is the screen. I usually ride with the screen open. The screen is relatively thin plastic and kind of flimsy. It gets squeaky with the wind. Aside from that, excellent helmet. The plushness and feature list has spoiled me to most, if not all, other helmets. Mine has remained relatively quiet.
Oh, and nice job on the push back to the commentary.
