Default "In the Wind Therapy"

normally not a “numbers guy” but this New Years Day 01/01/17 at 1:17 p.m. I went for an approximate 1 hour and 17 minute ride for approximately 30 miles with a 30 degree ambient air temp. I made two stops, one for these pix and one to slam a hot coffee for my return ride home. At the beginning a cat riding solo on a foreign land yacht stopped and retrieved my most outer head gear that I was unaware I lost. I remember thinking when I first saw him in my mirror, “ hah, another hearty sole!” Man I was surprised when he caught up to me to deliver my HD watch cap. We exchanged New Years well wishes, voiced our delight with snow and iceless roads after doing a hand off at 30 mph. I found a decent spot to pull over and he preceded on to (what I hope) was a glorious day. The only other scooters I saw were two HDs a few minutes apart that passed me by heading west at +55 mph.
At one point blasting down the highway I was so overcome with the enormity of it all, I shouted out in my mind “look at me Ma, I’m on top off the World!”
And for a short time all was well in my world.

I was just fortunate enough we had a **** load of snow earlier in December so I had not got around to taking bike apart yet.
Nothing like a V-Twin making power in 30 degrees.

I can't wait to get on and ride. It's still going to be a long wait.
