Hey guys,
not sure if I'm allowed to link to videos but here's a cold start idle clip for the S&S 583 Easy Start cams
I also got it on the dyno to compare to my previous stage 1 numbers
78.2HP and 100.6 FT/LBS isn't to bad, its definitely a torque cam, only adding 4hp was a little of a let down though haha.
a friend has some S&S 585 cams on the way for his breakout, I'll definitely update those dyno numbers as well!
Welch's have done a couple of dyno tunes for me, including my FXDF. They are good with SEPST. Your pipe is not the best I suspect; looks & sounds good...

Ive stopped by welchs to grab some shirts when Im up in edmonton, definitely a nice guy. sadly its out of the way for me.
But if I do any future mods I may have to get them to do the tuning.
let down about the pipes though! I dont think I'm gonna run out and buy new pipes though haha
Welch's is an 1100km round trip for me. I've also had dyno's at Calgary HD (Don't know if they still have a dyno) and Gasoline Alley in Red Deer. It's all about the dyno operator;anyone can buy the machine...Red Deer did tell me the V&H BR 2-1 was difficult to tune across the range. I got the RB pipe 'cause I wanted quieter performance

Haha suddenly my ride to welchs doesnt seem to bad!
I'll Have to ride up this summer and talk to him.
You got any Calgary bound rides this summer?
