Hidden antenna
I have a 2011 Street glide CVO and was thinking about getting a hidden antenna for inside the fairing. Went to my local H-D dealer yesterday and he told me I would be throwing my money away if I installed H-D part number 76000266 antenna. Anyone have any success replacing their external antenna for a hidden one. What brand do you recommend????? Thanks for any input.

I put a hidden antenna on my 2010 EGC. I think I bought it either from JP Cycles or Eglide goodies, been so long I cant remember. Installation was easy, just take off the outer fairing, disconnect the original antenna and plug in the new one. Attach the new antenna to the fairing.

I have a 14sgs and replaced the stick antenna for the HD concealed in the fairing system. Instal was easy, plug and play. As far as the quality of reception, to be honest I can't see much difference from the stock antenna. Your location would be my guess as to reception quality. I am quite close to a large metro.
