As some of you know, 14 Aug 2015 my drive belt broke, wrapped the rear wheel and twisted the bike sideways right into the stone cut out of the mountain here, on the highway I was on. Because of the damage that gave me, sometimes I need help getting to the end of my thoughts. In this case, I can not for the life of me, remember what the cover for the area around and the mid control shaff is called. I had a chrome one on the old bike and want to put one on the replacement one, but am drawing blanks on what in the sam blue blazes to look under. Can anyone help with a name or idea of what it is called??? Many Thanks

Search Google images for "motorcycle drivetrain diagram" and it should show you the part. I am still learning the part names but wish I could help you.
I want to Thank everybody for the help, you have no idea how much I am grateful for it One thing I have come to understand when you suffer a bad TBI, stupid things like not remembering what stuff is called, really does mess with you.
