Default Motorcycle Glasses/Goggles?

I'm looking for some eyewear that provides a little bit better protection for keeping wind and irritants away from my eyes. I don't have issues with normal exposure to outdoor air contaminants, but after a full day of riding in a half helmet and normal sunglasses, my eyes are pretty irritated. Probably more from the drying effects of the constant wind more than getting stuff in my eyes.

I'm leaning more towards some sunglasses that have a gasket that seals around the eye. I'm not really a fan of wearing large goggles when riding the scoot.

I currently have my eyes on the Wiley-X Air Rage Glasses/Goggles. Does anyone have any experience with these? They seem like exactly what I'm looking for.

Any recommendations?

I've seen a small version of the large goggles for "scoot" riding at indie and HD shops. Try them. Or Google. I wear a 3/4 with a face shield and don't get a lot of wind in my face.

I am jealous that you have Wiley X goggles. Are they prescription? I have them for when I used to be able to wear contacts but too old now and eyes get irritated.

Just today I had to pull over with buddy behind as I was wearing a 3/4 helmet with a shield and my eyes got so blurry it was either pull over or crash. Am hoping to get another pair of Wiley X prescription goggles or 7 eye which I also have and loved prior to falling back to eyeglasses.

Both Wiley X and 7 eye are excellent choices.

I wear glasses.....I have a pair of liberty wrap around with transition lens. That way I one pair to cover day and night. Wind coming in or around? Nope. No issues with wind, irritants, and crap.

I think a lot depends if you're riding a bike with a shield or not. My ultra classic I can ride with regular sunglasses. My sportster with no shield glasses with the foam around aren't enough to keep the wind out of my eyes. Eyes watered so much I could hardly see. Got a set of goggles and now good to go. One thing I've learned cheap is ok for day use but clear for night use needs to be quality or just get to much glare. I have new clear lenses for my big dog goggles. Haven't tried them yet as it's still a bit cold here at night but I'm hoping better than my $14 goggles I had last year

I have the Wiley-X Zone partial Polarized Performance Sunglasses. They are the type with the gasket insert that you can remove. They work well and look good on or off the bike.

I didn't even think about the transition lenses for use during day and night. Those Wiley-X glasses come in a transition lens version. I may just have to try them out. I think my local HD dealer has a Wiley-X display and I'll see if they have these.

I run a different style Wiley-X , had them for years now and love them. As for a full day out in the wind nothing is will keep you all morning eyed so experience has taught me pack some moisturizing eye drops and do regular stops the later half of the day. It seriously reduces the eye strain & irritation particularly on us older guys.

Yep, Wiley X all day long. I have the gravity in blue polarized and yellow for night. I've never been able to find transitions that get dark enough
