Yuma, AZ...I've truly come to think of it as my final resting place, I like it here so much. The humidity is usually around 10-30%, and the heat is bad two months out of the year. It's 8AM and it 78 degrees today. Will hit close to 100, but it's not like 100 in central Tex-*** where the humidity is around 2000%.
now thats down right freezing!!! i was chilly coming in to work this morning @ 78 degrees wearing a t-shirt. i thought, wow, it sure is getting cooler finally. of course by 0800 it was high 80's here in florida. enjoy the ride and send some cooler stuff south, will ya...
For all you uhhh...whimps that get cold in the 50's and for all you folks out there with legit problems like grey colored fingers in the cold. Can you say heated grips? I did Hot Grips like my other bikes. No issues like the HD kind. HOWEVER, not as sanitary install either. AND praise God for heated jackets/vests, pants. I smell a Polar Bear Run 1/1/2006

RE: GONNA BE COLD !!!!!!!!!!!
I'm with Mac and the other Southwesterners. It was near 80 all weekend here in So. Cal. Wife and I did nearly 200 miles just putting around eating. We are leaving for our Bullhead City Az. house Wednesday. It has been in the high 90's all week there. Bridge Run in Lake Havasu this comming weekend.
When wife finally retires we will leave all the taxes, and social welfare of California behind and move to the Arizona house.
I left out yesterday to go to our state Rally. Was in the 40's. I put on the gerbing heated jacket and gloves, nice and toasty while I enjoyed the ride!
Hey Steve,
Do you have the adjustable themostat for the Gerbing's? If so, how is it?
With the wind chill, it was below freezin ghere last night, and I don't have any heated clothing yet... but I'll be picking up some Gerbing's within the next week or 2!
