I am wondering what you all use on your chrome wheels to clean them. I currently use s100 chrome polish to get the spots off, but its alot of work and since i dont have a jack it takes forever. I am hoping that someone has an easier way to get the chrome shinning, that might not take an hour to clean my rims
I'd be curious about this myself. It's the worst part of cleaning my bike and I don't really mind giving it the TLC it needs. I do keep my wheels waxed as good as possible. I think it really helps make it easier to keep them clean.
Yup, get a jack. Wait for Sears to have a sale, they go down to $60 and they work great. It's cut my time down to 1 beer. I wash the wheels right after I clean the whitewalls. I bought a spoke brush that works pretty well, the residual Westleys from the tire makes 'em sparkle. Just don't let it dry or it'll spot 'em. Between washings, I just use detailer. Still haven't figured out how to clean the center of the axle.
Try some stuff called The Bom or Wham Bam Thank you Mam. Its a cleaner and wax at the same time. It will take all the trash off and polish and wax your wheels at the same time. Hope this works for you guys.
