I am thinking about buying a set of Samson "pomona" staggered exhaust, or Vance and Hines staggered shorts for '07 Glide, both have the look I like, any feedback would be great. Quality, sound, etc. Thanks.
have seen a few posts on samson (bad quality), but sounds great.
everyone and their grandma runs vance and hines,(great quality) good sound.
check out the rineharts, they make the style you are referring to, either way all of them are probably good.
I have Sampson fish tails on mine. Sound is great. One heat sheild came loose. Tack welded in place as a temp fix. New sheild came in, was pitted and looked worse than than the tack weld. Second replacement on the way. Every thing was dealer installed and so far, under warranty, no extra cost and work is being done during routine maintenince.
I was looking at the same pipes (the pomona's) and I think they look awesome. I was swayed away from them though after the service rep at the dealer told me about the difficulties many people have had with getting their warranty honored.
