Does anyone have some ideas for helmets that come in "long oval"? It seems that every helmet I buy ends up hurting my forehead because it is too short.
I ride with a Daytona skull cap, as I too have an oval head. I used to have utilize the one size bigger with a skull cap on, but wearing a 2XL gets tiring, when I can just wear an oval XL now.
But if you want cheap, or not full-face, I have no idea . . . I've worn Arai Signets and Profiles for many years because I have a long-oval head, and they are outstanding.

Arai as others have mentioned has always been one of the most popular in the long oval market. I would advise against getting a size too large and stuffing it with rags or hats. Doing so pretty much defeats a lot of the protection the helmet was designed for when it comes to injuries due to impact. A helmet that is to large will protect you from road rash but wont do an optimal job of protection against impact trauma to your brain
Been through this; if you are interested in a 3/4 Arai, Bell, HJC, etc......keep in mind all long oval helmets are not equal....got to try on for a while.
