From what I read the '14 and up 103 HO air cleaner flows more air than the '13's and previous air cleaners. Designed to flow more air for the newer cams on the 103 HO.
Is the stock air filter on a 103 HO considered a high flow filter or not? I looked online quite a bit today, and found a couple of different answers.
Are you talking about the air filter element or the air cleaner assembly? In any case, the HO AC assembly is the Screamin' Eagle Ventilator, which is indeed a high flow "stage 1" assembly. And it does flow significantly more than the standard assemblies found on the non HO 103s, though not as much as the "Heavy Breather" assemblies that come standard on the CVO 110"s and the FXDL. It'll flow as much air as a 103 needs until you start producing some pretty stout horsepower numbers.

It's the element I am talking about. I know the assembly was supppsed to draw air in more effeciently, but I couldn't really find anything concrete about the element.
The reason why I'm asking is that I put Cobra slip ons on my '17 Slim, and have been using the FP3 canned map for a bone stock '17 Softail. The bike has been running and sounding great. But I noticed today that my FP3 has a canned map for:
I guesss I'm just wondering if that map might fine tune the mapping a bit better. But I wasn't sure if the stock air filter/element on a 103 HO was really a high flow or not.
