Default Starter Problem

I have a high compression vtwin about 120 CI my starter just cant seen to get past the compression stroke on one or both cylinders. Its just not got enough power to turn it over I must stop and reset my compression valve over and over until it starts. I have a 320 CCA battery so I know its not that. Can any one tell me what Mack Daddy starter can I get to spin the thing over. It is a aftermarket Ultima Vtwin with a mid west 3.30 belt drive.

There was just a mega-thread very similar to this, I believe the OP was MCAPP. Search this hard starting, he mentioned something have to do with retarding the start timing.
