Default Lost oil pressure?????

So I just got my first Harley. A 2006 street glide. I wanted to see if the cam tensioner upgrade was done and it wasn't. I replaced both cam tensioners with new pads, put it back together and the bike ran great. Looked up, no oil pressure. Unhooked where the sending unit is and checked with an actual gauge, nothing. plus no oil coming through the oil return line. I had good oil pressure before i tore into it. what could I have done wrong????? Tia

Oil is not getting through. There are two small o-rings on the ports where the plate meets the cam chest, as well as one at the rear of the oil pump. If one of these is not installed correctly or gets pinched when installing, it can cause some issues. Did you realign the oil pump correctly using either alignment pins or proper tightening sequence while rotating rear wheel? Did you have to reassemble the oil pump and perhaps mess up the wavy washer? Did you measure the specs to ensure the gerotors stand proud about 1 thousandth to ensure proper wavy washer orientation, etc? Did you go down through the rockers or cut the pushrods and install quickie rods? Just asking a bunch of questions to better pinpoint where you can start looking.

We checked all the o rings and they looked fine. I did buy the alignment pins and tightened it spec to the shop manual. And we did cut the push rods and installed the new adjustable push rods. Thanks for the help

Did you turn the rear wheel as you aligned the pump to see that oil came out as the wheel turned?

Did you change the bearing retainer plate out with a different one?
