Oh your post was very much more pointed than that and we both know it, painting with a broad brush ? I think not I watched it happen up close, went from wild to mild in a decade.

We quit being bikers and became baggers.

It was in Deadwood, during the rally. My x snapped that pic from across the street while I was noting the similarities between the two. You have some problem with me or are you just turned on? I don't swing that way... so you can let it go now.

lot of cop bikes back then, before the dealers started take in them on trade. Strip em down lace up a 21" front rim. Sorta like where all the alphabet models came from.

Full dress Harley had a windshield and saddlebags.
My first Harley was a 1965 Electra Glide. I bought it in 1981 and traded it in on my '17 Tri Glide in January.

A local club nick named me Dresser Bob. I didn't know for years that they were making fun of me because they all rode choppers.

Regional thing I guess. Around here no shirt and vest, people think Village People. Been to deadwood a few times, I kept my shirt on.

It must be regional, around here we don't pay any attention to guys without shirts or spend our time thinking about the Village People. I guess whatever floats your boat...

Also l looks like over the hill 70s **** star. Which is better than Village People.

When it gets hot, I find myself wearing my vest less, and just a cotton shirt that breathes. Though when I was at Sturgis, I probably had to wear it and show off my I rode patches.

I don't care much about the fashion police. People are stupid. I'm a grown man, I dress how I like. I figured it's safer than a tank top.
I will admit, I don't do it much anymore. caught a bee at dusk one night and got stung 3 times before that little bastard fell out the bottom. was quite a sight to see an old "**** star", riding a hog, slapping the living **** out of his chest at 50 mph.

I like pockets. I have tried my denim concealed carry vest in hot weather. Little better.
