I've switched to a 3/4 from a police style. The wind on my ears is becoming more of an issue. I was using the ear flaps which took care of wind but they were wearing thin plus I try to get a new helmet every couple years or so. I like it other than on my Shovel without a windshield I get air in where my glasses go through. I put a old style flip up bubble on it and fixed that plus it helps a lot with shading the sun and living in Tampa Bay sun is a issue.
It's a AFX 76 Silver metal flake. SILVER and BLACK!
I wonder how the leather will be on yours as far as letting your skin breath?
" That was not the point of this thread, it was asking other users of the helmets listed to get rider feedback."
Got to get the post count up ya know.....

I'll throw my 2 cents in even though about everything has been covered. My go to helmet is a Bell Custom 500. I bought it on close out when the new 5 snap design came out. The old style Bell is to round for my head and left a red mark on my forehead. I took a hammer handle and massaged the forehead area. The helmet is now comfortable, my favorite thing is how lightweight it is. My full face Arai is a much is a higher quality helmet and safer helmet but I only wear it in the winter. The Arai fits great but I just don't like it except to block the cold air out. I will probably try a new Bell Custom 500 out for my next purchase.
After reading all I could about 3/4 helmets I just bought a Sick Lid.It's supposed to be thin and lite.I figure for $39.95 to the door I cant go too wrong.
If I could find a 3/4 that didn't make me look like Marvin the Martian, I'd probably buy one.
My Shoei fits theMarvin the Martian, but it is very safe, heavy, hard to get on your head. but does cut the wind noise, and has vents to remove some heat,
The New Bell Custom 500, and Davida V3 both go back to the old 50-60 smaller cafe racer helmet look, but made out of better materials, and both are DOT approved. The Davida is heavier, and more expensive, but I do like the leather over man made materials... I will either be wearing a dew-rag, or one of my skull caps from my flying helmets until it cools off a bit.
