Glad they got your motor, finally. Last time I had a motor replaced by the MoCo it was back in '02, when my first remanufactured Evo motor threw a rod bearing. The replacement motor took 9 days including shipping both ways IIRC. Sorry to see that things are that much worse nowadays.
Well ... I joined this club. Waiting on a new motor for my bike. Supposed to be 2 - 3 weeks to get the motor from Harley. Yesterday was 3 weeks ... called today, no motor yet.
Well I don't have it back yet, Rossmeyers didn't called with delivery info.
The Moco have given me, a one year warranty on the engine (I believe that's the new part warranty anyway), 2 months extended on the original warranty, 1000 mile service, and $250 towards parts.
Awesome! Glad to hear it. I would miss mine if it was gone that long again. Mine was gone for two months when the front end was replaced after hitting the deer. Longest time of my life. Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen as I rack up the miles.
Just the stock 88 motor. I can't afford to do anything else. I actually can't afford to do this, but I'll figure it out.
My motor had some kind of oil issue. They were up to $2,300 in work already, before they even figured out the main problem, so I said, screw it, just put a new motor in it.
