that's way to long ! two weeks for a motor to ship out and show up and a day or two to install. the thing is , alot of times it takes 7 to 10 days to just get it in to the dealer to have a look, so three weeks tops. get on harley's ***.

my opinion
you know this goes on and that's why i think they tell everyone "they all do that " while you are under warrenty. when your warrenty is over , everything needs work if you take your bike in.

It is better to be pissed off than passed on.

You have a second bike. Go for a ride.

That engine has been in transit for twelve days; freight moved faster than that 100 years ago. I'd be PO'd too.

You can usually figure on seven to ten working days.

My comment was meant as light humor.

As already suggested get the shipping info and run the thing down and then you can figure out where the problem/blame lies. It will take very little time to do and provide actual answers to your questions. I sincerely doubt that an item as expensive as a complete motor was shipped w/o tracking info.

Do they give you an engine off the line, or do they have to "special" build it with the original numbers?

They would be sick of me at this point hounding them. As recommended do get the tracking information and take control of the situation since no one else seems to be in a hurry.
