I'm looking for a bag that I could put on the luggage rack of my heritage that has a built in cooler and then a little dry storage as well. My hope is to be able to bring water/pop on our ride out west so we can stop when we want and not just at gas stations, and be able to put our rain gear and maybe some misc. items in that same bag. I have a soft sides RTIC cooler (Like the yeti flip coolers), but there isn't any dry storage in that.
I did a little searching and couldn't find anything that was really what I'm looking for. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I think I'm just going to go with a luggage bag and put my insulated gallon jug in it with my other gear. No other good options. I checked the grizzly website but didn't see anything that would work.
OP probably not what you are looking, but what I used for 22 days in May/June of '14 worked well for 8,350 miles. Bought a cat bed to sit under the cooler, didn't want to scratch my seat. cooler held hotel ice and 5 one liter bottles of water. Refilled bottles each morning. Some days in the desert still had to buy a couple liters.
Look on Ebay. I found a soft-sided insulated insert for the touring hard bag. It is thick and well made and when installed, it makes the full bag into an insulated cooler. It works well.
