This is what I use. I reapply at each gas stop, so about every 2.5 - 3.5 hours. Never get a burn using it, even when I'm out all day in the sun.

Cheers!

Oh, nasty one! I loved the sun as a kid, and continued burning and tanning up until my 40's, when I got my first of many skin cancers. I've had every type, and they keep appearing every year in different places every year, and I'm now 63, with a lot of scars. Even had a tiny melanoma years ago on my leg which I caught so early, all I needed was have a huge chunk of leg meat removed. Sunburns will mess you up in a bad way later on.

From the referenced article:

"According to Spencer, an SPF 15 product blocks about 94% of UVB rays; an SPF 30 product blocks 97% of UVB rays; and an SPF 45 product blocks about 98% of rays."

During hot weather: Shoei Neotech helmet, mesh jacket, mesh gloves.

OK - so that's why this Country is so great. I have the freedom to pay $x for my sunblock with SPF 30 and know that I am 97% protected. You have the freedom to pay 2 times $x for an increase of 1% protection. Win-win.

Old farmer been working the fields
in the sun for years.

is Copper tone "sport",(comes in a nice blue squeeze bottle)

What sunblock do you use?

Straight 50 weight motor oil - blocks UV.., repels bugs..., moisturizes
