Maybe giving away an H-D isn't always a good idea?
OK, I love stories about hooking up vets, or H-D stepping in to replace a stolen bike. Those are awesome to read about. But this story from the HP, where actor Channing Tatum just gave a random 20-year-old girl a motorcycle? WTF? Does this sound like a bad idea to anyone else? I sure hope she takes a safety course!

thought I read she ENTERED a contest. She won. Not like it was a personal gift. But while I kinda see what you mean, it's ok to give a bike to a vet but not a 20 waitress who might be busting her *** to earn an honest dollar? Is it 1950 already?
Why would gifting a motorcycle to anyone young/old, male/female be a bad idea? Yes hopefully she takes a riders course and hopefully she enjoys all the fun I have for many years on two wheels. IMHO its always good to bring another person into the joys of riding
