So I thought about this harley Engine brighter to bring my engine to nice condition but I am not sure if this wont harm any surfaces and create any mess. I am sure someone figure out good way to clean this wrinkle black engine and cylinders.
please let me know what ypu do to make sure your endine looks sharp and black like coal
Yes! I had good luck with Simple Green, none other!
I use pig spit on my engine, and it does attract more dirt. When I want to clean it, I then use the simple green to de-grease the fins and then once it's dry, I reapply pig spit..or any silicon spray really.
+1 on Pig Spit. I like it better than the HD or S100 Engine brighteners as it's not as thick. I'll typically use car-wash soap on entire bike, blow it dry and spray the Pig Spit on the engine and wipe excess off of chrome.

Yeah...just a rag when it gets on the chrome pushrod covers or exhaust or whichever. No biggy. Really any silicone based clear spray works good. The silicone wont evaporate when the engine gets hot.
Bike I got just was sitting for last 3 years and I have some water discoloration on these cylinder fins. Coating is intact i just need to the whole thing to be nice black and uniform. This will everything looks nice and together. Will such brighener make appearance more consistent visually?
