To me it's a better setup than anything I've seen including the JS jack.
That's nice! Damn! I could've bought a craftsman jack on CL for $60 and that dolly for $100 and been sturdy, and way under the $450 I just spent on the J&S. $300 could've easily been spent elsewhere....

I've got a Craftsman jack... and I'm looking at the J&S. The Craftsman is barely adequate, IMHO... I have to put the wheels up on a board to get under the bike, and it isn't very stable all the way up.

I totally get that lots of people store bikes on jack stands. I have one and use it all the time. But its just my opinion....
I get NERVOUS as hell leaving my bike on that thing. I would be scared to death to leave it for months.
If i needed the bike upright for space issues, a center stand would be my answer.

You can make or buy something like that, which doesn't need to attach to the bike. There are posts on here somewhere that show it.

Note that the JS jack is too wide to use with the Redline dolly.
That being said, the JS jack is sturdy enough as it is so you probably wouldn't use a dolly with it anyway..

You must have the Craftsman red jack or a really low bike.
The Craftsman yellow jack gets as low as any jack available to include the JS jack.
My yellow jack is close to the frame but it slides under my Heritage while it's on the jiffy stand.

Default Jack

I have the crapsman yellow and dolly. I bought it for a solid place for wrenching and cleaning. Love the dolly, I can push my Ultra all over garage.

Been storing my bikes on a J&S every winter for 9 years. No problems.
