I had a Iphone in a an Otterbox pull out of a handlebar mount and flip down the road at 40 with no damage because of a bump to the cord. If you are looking for a way to hear tunes Airpods are it.
Im debating on AirPods. Other than being Apple is it better than any other BT earbuds? I have $30 ones from amazon thats waterproof and lasts a week.

Have you seen or read about them? They are rechargeable, have no wire or horse collar around your neck, and are loaded with features due to an onboard chip. Check it out.

I have been using them daily for my job and they are awesome. I havent tried them on the bike yet, but havent had any issues with them falling out.
