Keep what you've got.

Try and understand it needs nothing.

Ride more.

Spend less.

Never I mean never share your accounts or money with a women. Never discuss what your gonna buy or how much you have in the bank. If you want it go buy it . You work for it and that's how it works. If she can't handle it put her *** on the slow train .Question what
she buys and watch how fast she puts the closed sign on the kitchen.

I had a 2015 Street Glide Special and put about 10K into it, then all of a sudden felt the need to get a CVO Street Glide, so in August of 2016 found the one I wanted and bought it (no wife factor, got rid of her a long time ago) I put the SGS up for sale after taking some of the upgrades off and selling them, I knew I would take a bath, but its only money, do what you want to do or what makes you happy. I like the CVO, but sometimes I wonder how much more money would be in my bank account

Here is a picture right after I bought the CVO before I sold the SGS

No brainer. She got what she wanted. You should get what you want.

Other than whether or not you can afford it, any discussion of what "the smart money" is is a waste of time on this topic. It's all money spent on a toy.

My opinions on CVOs are, I don't really care for them. Too expensive and gaudy...not unique.

Personally, every time I've pushed my life out of balance to buy something I'm supposed to enjoy it's been a mistake and a lot of the "enjoyment" is lost.

I'm lucky, my wife is a great partner in every way...but partner means equal. We have our fun together and separately but Big stuff $$ that affects the house needs both parties happy. Yes is the usual answer, or a plan to figure it out in the future. Like I said, I'm lucky.

Also I love all the "he-man woman haters club" posts. Not kidding...I'm glad you guys are enjoying yourselves on your terms. 100% right choice for you and nothing beats blowing off steam at the bar with my friends who feel that way. I was in a bad marriage once upon a time. Got the F out and saved my life...

But....

Anyone who thinks it's harder to work a job and get paid than it is to raise kids all day, keep a household together, take care of peopl 24/7, and live where you work all day and night is mistaken. Screw up at work? Get another job. Screw up a home? Life sentence.

Sure, dad job isn't always a picnic and there can be a lot of pressure - plus we miss a lot of important things bringing home the bacon...plus we play our part in the home too, but we're like the celebrity guest star compared to mom in that role.

You are asking a bunch of dudes on the internet to decide whether or not to fight with your wife... I just want to be clear on the question you are asking.

I am probably in the minority here, but I would keep the bike you have. Spend all the money that you would lose on the trade in upgrades and make the bike a super-one-of-a-kind. But then, I just bought an older bike after having new bikes.
